- Approximatly 60 km North of Perth via State Road 60, directly at the
coast of the Indian Ocean the little towns Yanchep, Two Rocks and
Guilderton are situated.
- From there You can go easy to the Yanchep National Park entry
- No Problems, sealed roads to the park and inside, too.

Centre, picnic spots with free gas or electric BBQ's) offer
convenience for all visitors.

- Yanchep National Park covers approximatly 3000 ha of tuart and
banksia woodlands. Despite its relative small area the Park offers
many varied scenerys. You may discover wetlands nearby the banks of
Loch McNess, the bright Eucalyptus woods or the dry, rough Boomerang
Gorge.
- Yancep was made a reserve in 1905 as a health and pleasure resort and
for the protection of caves, flora and fauna. During the Depression of
the 1930s sustenance workers constructed roads and buildings and
dredged a channel around Loch McNess. Yanchep was made a National
Park in 1969. Visit Gloucester Lodge Museum to discover more about
the parks history.
- The major attraction : The lovely Koala - Park. Koalas live here
since 1938! Beside some little enclosures there is a walk-through
area, You should look for these unique little Australians in their
treetop habitat. Good luck!
- Here and there outcrops of limestone rise above the soil, indicate the
park's vast network of caves and underground streams. Guided tours are
offered daily - visit the Crystal Cave!
- Step out and explore the park by foot. A variety of trails designed
to help You discover the features and diversity of the park. Park
Notes and maps of the trails are available at the Visitor Centre.
Popular trails are for instance the Yanjidi Trail around the Loch
McNess wetlands (2 km) or the Ghost House Trail with beautyful
examples of tuart forest, stony outcrops and historical ruins (10 km).
